Born and educated in Shanghai, Yibi worked for the large broadcasting station Motion Magic Digital Studios from 2000 to 2003. In his third year Yibi became an Art Director overseeing a design team. In 2004 he gained a Masters degree in Screen Design from Kingston University in the UK. During study, his short films entered many festivals cross the world.

Now,Yibi is an experienced and awarded broadcast designer working at the UK's leading broadcast design company Redbee Media (Formerly BBC broadcast), in London. As a freelancer, he worked with BskyB and Nickelodeon.Yibi is also a visual artist, animator and illustrator working on his own concepts and blending his visual palette with his own flavor.
